The first trimester (the first three months or the first 12 weeks) of pregnancy is a period where the mother’s body is getting adapted to the newly conceived baby in the uterus. There will be a multitude of early pregnancy symptoms, which will vary from mother to mother, and which will generally lessen after the first trimester.
Morning Sickness (Nausea and vomiting, more in the morning but may be present at other times or all times), Breast tenderness, Frequent urination, Feeling tired, Spotting (light bleeding 8-10 days after ovulation when the fertilized ovum implants in the uterus), constipation, heartburn, irritability and moodiness, and feeling weak or dizzy are some of these early pregnancy symptoms.
Here is a nice video to explain this stage and its management in detail.
